They are both merely investment vehiclesways to supplement your income. A school teacher who makes $45,000 a year cannot expect to triple his annual salary in one month through sports gambling. Nor can he or she expect to accomplish that goal investing in stocks. An accountant who makes a casino bonus of $75,000 per year cannot expect to become a millionaire overnight through gambling. Nor can he or she accomplish that goal investing in stocks. All investors are limited by what they can afford to risk. It sounds unfair, but the richer you are when you start, the easier it is to multiply your stake.


So yes, what Im saying is that the rich do get richer! They start with a bigger bonus bankroll. They can make bigger stock investments. They can outlast losing streaks. They can afford to be more patient and wait for the high-percentage play. They can also afford to step up and take bigger risks without busting their bankrolls. And they never have to risk the rent bonus money.


Life is in fact unfair. But you, as the average stock investor with financial limitations, can turn bonus gambling into a profitable venture. You just have to be realistic, patient, disciplined, and most of all, a Contrarian! You can never expect to win 80 percent of the test casino bonus of your stock picks. It just doesnt happen. And you can never expect to double your annual income (off your day job) by investing on Wall Street. Does it ever happen? Sure, once in a while in the midst of a stock mania (think dot-corn) average investors make fortunes quickly, but even then they lose them back even faster (think dot-corn bust).


Could you turn $10,000 into $20,000 in only six weeks on Wall Street? Not likely. Not without taking reckless chances. Remember that the top pros on Wall Street are thrilled with a 20 percent annual return. They are orgasmic over 30 percent bonus annual returns. So that means that on a $10,000 investment, all you should expect to earn on Wall Street under the best of circumstances is $2,000 to $3,000 per year! If you expectbetter returns than that, please stop reading my book. You are an idiot. And you may not realize it, but you are heading for a bonus financial disaster. You may live in a nice home at the moment, but I hope you like the feel of cardboard and the sound of honking hornsbecause soon you will be living in a box under the freeway!


I know most of you are laughing at that line, but its not as funny as you think. Far too many investors dont understand what realistic expectation really means - Why do truck drivers often expect to double their annual salary of $40,000 by investing on a hot stock bonus tip? Why do middle managers have grandiose fantasies of turning a nice $100,000 nest egg (that they spent fifteen years slaving for bonus) into $1 million on one stock?


What Im trying to say here is that I can give you every edge in this worldand thats exactly what Im trying to do in this bookbut youre still not going to get rich quick overnight. Not even in a Casino. Pronto. There is no such thing. But if you follow my advice, you will perform better as a gambler or investor than you ever have in your life. You will grind out a profit. You will win more often than youll lose. If you apply my bonus philosophy to all areas of your life, youll profit there, too. Hey, youre now a successful Contrarian investor, and as a bonus your life will change for the better. Not bad for reading a book about gambling!
